VEFA Group will multiply its work volume in Libya with new technologies.

Vefa Group, which is the leader in the pre-fabricated and light weight steel construction sector, will use its Neopan panel technology, which has been applied in Turkey for some time and which has cost 10 million dollars, in the giant worker camp that it has constructed in Libya.

Vefa Pre-Fabricated Constructions, which set up construction sites, workers camps and living quarters at all corners of the world, has carried its work volume over 110.000 m² with the worker camp that it has started to construct in Libya. Co-President of Vefa Group, Turan Kocyigit has stated that; “We shall apply the new products, which emerge out of our automatic wall production line, which is the product of R&D works that has lasted almost 3 years, in a construction site with the scale as this one for the first time. We have speeded our production at the record level with the Neopan technology. We have been awarded an additional construction site last month in Libya with an area of 8.000 m² and we have completed both the production and the delivery of the site in very short time”. Kocyigit, who has reminded that the government of Libya will put its emphasis on the housing, hospital, school, shopping centres, infrastructure and motorways during the next six years, has stated that they aim to increase their work volumes here for every year. Kocyigit, who has said that their first aim is to reach to a work size of 250.000 m² in the short term, has also underlined that they have formed solution partnerships with the 30 largest construction company of the world. Kocyigit, who has explained that they have their activities as representation in Libya, has also indicated that they will open a branch in Libya in short time in order to strengthen their presence here and added that location activities is going on for a showroom and also added that a work development manager has started to spend approximately two weeks of every month in Libya.

Quality product with Neopan Technology is faster

Vefa, which has been carrying on with its R&D and P&D activities since 2006 in order to achieve panel production in a way that is suitable for pre-fabricate and container systems, has commissioned its composite panel line during the middle of 2009. Vefa, which has started to produce the walls of the pre-fabricated constructions fully automatically with the line that is in operation, has started to offer more economical and quality products for its customers faster. Co-President of Vefa Group, Turan Kocyigit, has underlined that the new composite panel line is one and only in Turkey and added that they provide serious amount of cost advantages for their customers for the production of construction site building productions.

The cost benefit that Vefa provides for the pre-fabricated buildings by applying 1,25 metre size and one face concrete board coated walls on the pre-fabricated buildings and with Neopan technology that provides aesthetic and warm look, is especially achieved by eliminating the painting operation that is applied at the site. This is because of the fact that the exterior faces of the Neopan walls, which are made from sheet metal, enters the production as being painted and they are packaged in this form.

Low cost and high productivity with Profacto technology

Vefa, which has added another new line to its present lines, where the beams that are used for the roofs of the construction site buildings, can produce these in fully automatic computer supported lines. In addition, every moment of the production can be monitored with the system that is applied. Since galvanised steel is used on the lines, oxidation risk, which might take place at the weld points, is eliminated and resistant against oxidation is provided on the beams that are produced with bolt fixing.

Aesthetic looks and comfortable life with Nestavilla technology

The office buildings and the lodging buildings, where the top level managers live together with their families in the sites, where Vefa constructs, is generally formed with the buildings that are produced by using Nestavilla technology.
